Gallery Notes

During my first gallery show I had a different version of a comment book.  My 1948 Smith-Corona “Corona Silent, Floating Shift” Typewriter was the tool I used to get my visitors to engage in my artwork.

Taking a Leap of Faith

So I’ve been really proactive about entering contests, applying for scholarships and grants these past couple of years.  Many times I get rejected but I never give up.  So I am asking all of you to help get me voted as the best Art Student.  I know there are so many contests but tell your friends and let’s see how legitimate this one is.

Art Through the Eyes of a Kid

So I work at an after school program in San Jose called Peapod Adobe Youth Voices Academy.  It’s new to the area and to us.  The best part is the students that walk through the door are really good kids and have hidden talents they don’t realize are talents.  Like these bicycles made out of those tiny black wires they wrap around electrical cords.
